About 150 international attendees, mainly from Europe, Asia and North America, came together to get an extensive overview of the latest scientific and technological developments in CIGS thin-film solar cells and their industrial applications worldwide. The audience unanimously agreed that as a follow-up of the CIGS White Paper published in late 2015 (see www.cigs-pv.net), the CIGS community should join forces in order to promote the attractive CIGS solar technology in an expanding photovoltaic world market.
The organizing committee would like to thank our invited speakers for the high quality of their talks and the audience for the lively discussions around the topics.
After this great success, the committee decided to organize the workshop again next year. Date and place will be communicated at a later stage.
