High-performance batteries, fuel cells and the next generation of electrochemical energy technologies – these are the central topics of the Ulmer Electrochemical Talks (UECT), Germany, which will be held from 23 to 26 June 2014. The world’s leading scientific and industrial experts meet up every two years in this city on the Danube to discuss the latest developments in electromobility and energy storage. The multi-day conference is being organised by the Centre for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Württemberg (ZSW) for the fourteenth time and will be held at Ulm’s Congress Centre.
50 experts from ten nations will present their latest discoveries at the UECT. A poster exhibition and various discussion forums are also included in the programme. Tutorials held on 23 June at the Education and Training Centre Ulm for Innovative Energy Technologies (WBZU) in the Ulm Science Park will provide a detailed examination of PEM fuel cells, lithium-ion batteries and other technologies. The organisers expect 250 representatives from the research, automobile and supplier industries will attend the events.
