Energieverbrauch nach sechs Monaten im Minus / Erneuerbare mit Zuwachs
Der Energieverbrauch in Deutschland lag in den ersten sechs Monaten des laufenden Jahres um 1,7 Prozent unter dem vergleichbaren Vorjahreswert. Nach vorläufigen Berechnungen der Arbeitsgemeinschaft Energiebilanzen (AG Energiebilanzen) erreichte der Verbrauch eine Gesamthöhe von 6.536 Petajoule (PJ) beziehungsweise 223,0 Millionen Tonnen Steinkohleneinheiten (Mio. t SKE). Bei den Kohlen lagen die Rückgänge im zweistelligen Bereich. Die Erneuerbaren konnten insgesamt um 4 Prozent zulegen. Bei Mineralöl und Erdgas kam es ebenfalls zu Zuwächsen. Ohne den verbrauchsteigernden Effekt der etwas kühleren Witterung hätte der Verbrauchsrückgang nach Berechnungen der AG Energiebilanzen sogar bei etwa 2 Prozent gelegen.
