Federal Ministry of Education and Research allocates 1.8 million euro of funding to “KontElPro” project

Scientists plan to use artificial intelligence to optimise the processes used to manufacture battery cells. The Centre for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Württemberg (ZSW) is working on this in a research network which has set itself the goal of developing eco-friendly, cost-effective and solvent-free ways of producing battery electrodes. The ZSW is working with the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology ICT, the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Applied Materials IFAM and the Fraunhofer Institute for Material and Beam Technology IWS
