The more powerful and compact fuel cells become, the more difficult it is to improve and refine them. The processes inside fuel cells are highly complex, and it is often difficult to separate and clearly identify causes and effects. In addition to this, the influence of the test environment and test procedure on the results obtained must be taken into account. The prerequisites for correct interpretation of test results therefore include experienced scientists and engineers, in addition to reliable methods for acquiring measurement values.
