At ZSW, we are specialised in characterising fuel cell electrodes. In addition to in-situ methods, many ex-situ methods are available. Alongside methods that can also be used for gas diffusion layers (e.g. drop contour, scanning electron microscopy), this also includes specific methods for catalyst characterisation (XRD) and the entire area of electrode production. The properties determined can be used as part of simulations (cells and stacks (Computational Fluid Dynamics, CFD)).
