Simulation of integrated systems and plants

Simulation of integrated systems and plants

Simulation and modelling of systems and plants for power supply mean the possibility to carry out extensive, but mainly quick and cost reduced analysis of accordant set ups. The examination of efficiencies, possibilities of heat integration and the build up of controlling equipment is by far not all the spectrum of capabilities.

Application and Equipment

  • system simulation of sea water reverse osmosis desalination integrated with energy supply from solar photovoltaic an diesel power generators
  • simulation of 5kW power supply for domestic uses
  • simulation and security analysis of super capacitors for energy storage in hybrid cars (Further information (pdf))
  • modelling of the Thermal gas behaviour in stratospheric platforms (Further information (pdf))

  • IPSEpro
  • AspenPlus, AspenDynamics, Aspen CustomModeler
  • FLUENT/GAMBIT
  • CFDRC/ICEMCFD
  • Matlab Simulink

Service

Concerning questions, which need to be treated systematically and basically with numerical analysis supported experimentally, the possibility of a common research project is given.

Such research and development projects mostly providing technical support to the medium-sized industry are brought forward financially by the county of BW, the state or the EU. For preparing the proposals we would like to endorse you willingly.

Since many years we are carrying out modelling and simulation works in the frame of various projects with different partners. By means of the simulation obvious optimisations could have been achieved for many components and systems.
